CELPIP Results: Processing Time, Scores & PDF Reports

Everything you need to know about accessing your official CELPIP test results online, processing timelines, score re-evaluation options, and validity periods for IRCC.

After completing your test at an official secure test center, your scores are evaluated and posted directly to your CELPIP online account. No physical paper certificates are mailed; you receive a verified, downloadable official score report PDF.

1. CELPIP Result Processing Timelines

Paragon Testing Enterprises (Prometric) offers two evaluation timelines depending on your urgency:

Standard Rating Service

Included in your standard test fee. Results available online in 4 to 5 business days after taking your exam.

Standard Fee

Express Rating Service

Accelerated rating service. Results posted within 1 to 2 business days for candidates facing tight immigration deadlines.

Add-on Fee (~$50 CAD)

2. How to Access and Download Your Official CELPIP Score PDF

Follow these simple steps once you receive your official email notification:

  1. Log in to your official online account at celpip.ca.
  2. Navigate to the "My Test Scores" tab on your dashboard.
  3. View component band scores (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) ranging from Level 3 to 12.
  4. Click "Download Official Score Report PDF" to save the digitally signed document required for Express Entry or citizenship lodging.

3. CELPIP Score Re-evaluation Policy (Re-Count Process)

If you feel your performance in Speaking or Writing deserved a higher level (for instance, if you received an 8 but needed a 9 for CLB 9), you can request a formal re-evaluation:

Re-evaluation Key Facts:

    Application Window: Must be submitted within 6 months of your original test date.Components Covered: You may request re-evaluation for all components or specific components (Writing / Speaking).Fee Refund Guarantee: If your score increases in any single component as a result of re-evaluation, your re-evaluation fee is 100% refunded.Score Cannot Decrease: Your scores will never be lowered as a result of a re-evaluation request.

4. Score Validity Rules (IRCC & Immigration)

CELPIP General test results are valid for 2 years from the date of the test for all Canadian immigration streams (IRCC Express Entry, PNP) and Australian Department of Home Affairs visa lodging. Ensure your test remains valid on the exact date you submit your e-APR or visa application.
