Test anxiety can drop your CELPIP score by an entire CLB level. For many candidates, the anxiety stems not from the English language, but from the unfamiliarity of the test center environment. CELPIP is a 100% computer-delivered test, which means the logistics of test day are highly regimented. Here is exactly what you can expect from the moment you walk through the doors.

Arrival and Check-In Procedures

You must arrive at the test center at least 45 minutes before your scheduled test time. If you arrive late, you will be denied entry and you will not receive a refund.

When you arrive, you will go through a strict security protocol:

• ID Verification: You must present the exact same valid, original piece of identification (usually your passport) that you used to register for the test.
• Personal Belongings: You cannot bring your phone, smartwatch, notes, or even a pen into the testing room. Everything must be locked in a provided locker or designated area.
