Subject: Recreation Centre Booking Enquiry

Hi Mark,
I'm looking into booking a space at the City Recreation Centre for my dad's 60th birthday party. We're expecting about 50 guests, so we'll need enough space for everyone to mingle comfortably. It's a surprise party, so I'd like to be able to bring in our own food, maybe even heat some things up, so access to a kitchen would be great.
I also saw they have equipment rentals. We're planning a slideshow, so a projector would be useful.
Could you take a look at the attached guide and let me know which room you think would be best, what the total cost might look like for a 3-hour event, and if we're actually allowed to bring our own catering with kitchen access?
Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out! I've reviewed the guide and your request for your dad's party.
For 50 guests and kitchen access, the most suitable primary room would be the . This room has ample space and allows for the kitchen add-on.
Regarding bringing your own food, yes, that's absolutely fine, provided you rent the kitchen, as catering is in this specific scenario.
Also, be aware that for any booking involving the kitchen, a mandatory cleaning fee applies, in addition to the $50 non-refundable deposit.
Let me know if you'd like me to proceed with a booking!
Best,
Mark
