I was looking at the community ice rink schedule for next week and had a few questions. I'm thinking of taking the kids (Leo is 7, Mia is 10) for a public skate sometime. Is there a good time on the weekend? I saw something about a "Family Fun Skate" – do you know if that's a good deal for us? Also, do we need to worry about helmets for them? I think we have some old ones, but not sure if they're "CSA-approved."

Separately, I also noticed some adult stick & puck sessions. I might try to squeeze one in before work next week if the timing works out. Any thoughts on that?

Great idea! For the kids, remember that anyone under the age of must wear a helmet. If we go for the Family Fun Skate, that's on afternoons. We can also rent skates there, and they cost per hour.
