Finally, I'm curious about the availability of plots. We would ideally prefer a full-sized plot if possible, but we are flexible and would consider a half-sized plot if full ones are scarce. Could you give me an idea of the typical plot sizes and the likelihood of securing one for the 2024 season? We are particularly interested in a plot that receives good sunlight throughout the day.

Thank you for your interest in the Maplewood Community Garden Program! We're delighted to hear you've chosen Maplewood as your new home and are eager to join our gardening community.
Registration for the 2024 season will officially on November 15th. As a new resident, you are certainly eligible. We do require all new participants to attend a mandatory orientation session, which will be scheduled in early March. This session covers important details regarding plot maintenance and practices.
Regarding rules, we encourage organic gardening; however, specific chemical pesticides are prohibited. A comprehensive list of approved and prohibited substances, along with guidelines for off-season plot care, will be provided during orientation and in our program handbook.
While full-sized plots are indeed in high demand, we anticipate having a few for the 2024 season. We also have ample half-sized plots. We do our best to accommodate sunlight preferences, but it's not always . We recommend registering promptly to secure your preferred plot size.
