Subject: Group Project Meeting - Marketing 301
Date: October 26, 2023, 10:15 AM
Hi Team,
Hope you're all having a productive week!
I wanted to touch base regarding our Marketing 301 group project, "Market Entry Strategy for Sustainable Tech." Professor Thompson mentioned in class on Tuesday that the first progress report is due in two weeks, specifically November 9th. We really need to finalize our initial research plan and delegate tasks well before then.
I've looked at everyone's availability on the shared Google Calendar. It seems like finding a time when all four of us are free is a bit tricky, but I've narrowed down a couple of options that might work:
For location, I was thinking we could book one of the study rooms in the library on the 3rd floor. They have whiteboards, which would be really helpful for brainstorming. Alternatively, if those are all taken, the common area on the ground floor of the Business building is usually pretty quiet in the afternoons. I'll try to book a library room for whichever time we pick.
Could you all please reply by the end of tomorrow (Friday, October 27th) to let me know which option works best for you, or if neither does, suggest an alternative? Also, any initial thoughts on the market entry strategy itself would be great to bring to the meeting.
Thanks,
David

Hi David,
Thanks for organizing this and for looking into our schedules. I'm definitely on board with getting together soon to discuss the project, especially with that November 9th deadline approaching.
Regarding the meeting options, I appreciate you trying to make Monday work, but so I'd really prefer to avoid rushing straight from the lab. It usually runs a bit over, and I'd rather be fully present. Also, to confirm if that time is truly free for them.
Wednesday, November 1st, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM . I'm completely free then and think it's a much better fit for everyone's schedule, especially since Marcus also has ample time after his tutorial.
The library study room sounds – the whiteboards will be invaluable. If not, the Business building is a solid backup.
I've been thinking a bit about the "Sustainable Tech" market entry. I believe would be a strong starting point for our research, as it offers a clear niche. I'll bring some initial ideas to the meeting.
Let me know if Wednesday works for the others. Looking forward to and getting this project off to a great start!
Best,
Emily
