Subject: Exciting New Community Cooking Workshops!
Dear Valued Residents,
I hope this email finds you well. I'm writing to you today with some exciting news from the Elmwood Community Center! We're thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new series of community cooking workshops, designed to bring us all together through the joy of food.
Our goal is to foster a sense of community, share diverse culinary traditions, and help everyone, from beginners to seasoned home cooks, expand their skills. We've listened to your feedback from last month's suggestion box, and many of you expressed a strong interest in practical, hands-on activities. These workshops are our direct response!
We have an incredible lineup for the upcoming months. November will feature "Italian Pasta Making," a two-session workshop held on consecutive Saturday mornings (November 4th and 11th) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. December brings "Holiday Baking Basics," a single intensive session on Saturday, December 2nd, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, perfect for preparing for festive gatherings. Looking ahead to January, we'll explore "Asian Street Food Delights," a three-session series every Wednesday evening (January 10th, 17th, 24th) from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Each workshop has a modest fee of $35 per person, which covers all ingredients, equipment use, and expert instruction. Spaces are limited to 15 participants per workshop to ensure a personalized experience, so early registration is highly recommended. You can sign up online through our community center website (elmwoodcc.org/cooking) starting this Friday, October 28th, at 9:00 AM. Please note that cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance for a full refund.
We are also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with setup, cleanup, and general support during the workshops. If you're interested in volunteering, please reply to this email directly by November 1st, indicating your availability and preferred workshop. Volunteers receive free admission to the workshop they assist with!
We can't wait to see you there, cooking, learning, and sharing!
Best regards,
Sarah Chen

Dear Sarah,
Thank you for the wonderful news about the new cooking workshops! I was so excited to read your email. It's great to see the community center residents' suggestions.
I'm particularly interested in the "Italian Pasta Making" workshop. I've always wanted to learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch. I understand it's a two-session workshop on November 4th and 11th. I'd like to sign up as soon as registration this Friday.
I'm also very keen on volunteering. I have some free time and would love to help out. I could assist with setup and cleanup for the "Holiday Baking Basics" workshop on December 2nd. I'm generally available on weekends and some weekday evenings. Please let me know if you still need for that session. I'm happy to help wherever needed.
Could you please confirm the exact time that online registration opens on Friday? I want to make sure I don't miss out on a spot for the pasta class.
Thanks again for organizing these fantastic opportunities for the community. I'm really looking forward to in one of the workshops and contributing as a volunteer.
Best regards,
